Solar PV Training Class Starts April 13

The only solar photovoltaic class in Georgia that qualifies students for the NABCEP Entry Level Solar PV Exam is beginning its second session this month. The Lanier Technical College Photovoltaic Certificate of Knowedge class is taught in the Milton center, near Alpharetta, GA. This class is an excellent way to learn about the technology and business of solar electric power, a booming industry with 40% annual growth nationwide.

The solar class has excellent hands on training with the latest equipment provided by major corporate sponsors, including SMA America, Solectria, Direct Power and Water, URE, and Norcross, Georgia based Suniva.

Alpharetta, Georgia based United Renewable Energy LLC President William Silva, a NABCEP Certified Solar PV Installer and former adjunct professor at Johns Hopkins University teaches the course. The course emphasis is on real world knowledge of PV system design and installation.
